Sara Vick

Sara is a Certified Financial Planner™ with nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 2006 at Wachovia Securities shortly after graduating from Longwood University. Starting in an operations role, she quickly earned her securities license and developed a strong foundation in the mechanics of the industry. In 2008, as Wachovia transitioned to Wells Fargo, Sara was offered the opportunity to join Kappy’s team—moving from a behind-the-scenes position into a client-facing role where she discovered her true passion.

Today, Sara thrives in building strong relationships and helping clients bring clarity and order to their financial lives. She believes every household has a unique story, and she’s honored to help clients plan intentionally for their futures through tailored advice and genuine connection.

Originally from Powhatan County, Sara now lives in Richmond with her husband and two children, Toby and Kate. She’s a dedicated member of St. Bridget Catholic Church, where she volunteers regularly and is actively involved in her children’s school community. A self-described early bird, Sara kicks off most mornings at Orangetheory and brings that same energy and focus into her work. She also cherishes time spent in the Lowcountry—searching for shark’s teeth, catching sunrises, and soaking up the serenity of the coast.
