
Cameron DeBord
Cameron DeBord is an Account Manager at Heron Creek Benefits, where she supports a diverse group of clients by managing their employee benefit needs—from renewal analysis and claims resolution to billing issues and Medicare transitions. Her favorite part of the role is making insurance approachable and ensuring clients feel supported, understood, and never alone in navigating their coverage.
A Richmond native, Cameron has worked in the insurance industry since 2005, beginning her career at a local agency supporting the state’s car dealer association. She worked with a retail association, MetLife, and spent a decade at a small, woman-owned agency through its acquisition by a larger firm. Cameron joined Heron Creek in June 2023, drawn by the company’s integrity, values, and client-first focus.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Radford University and is licensed in Life and Health insurance. Known for her work ethic and loyalty, Cameron is deeply committed to client care and building long-term relationships rooted in trust and consistency.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her rescue dogs—often outdoors. She is an active volunteer in local animal rescue organizations, specializing in fostering puppies, senior dogs, and even once a pig named Barbie-Q! When she’s not fostering animals, she loves gardening and has a yard full of flowers and vegetables come spring.
